Nomination text:
A single silver nanowire and single layer MoS2 flake was used to make a nanophotonic integrated circuit element. This device could potentially be used for on chip optical processing. Both plasmonic and photonic interactions between the Ag nanowire and MoS2 flake were demonstrated.
