Low-Temperature Solution-Processed Perovskite ...

posted by Chris Sullivan E-mail, Michigan State University, 29.09.2014, 19:46

The development of alternative low-temperature processing is critical for reducing the cost of manufacturing and thus adoption of these solar cells. In this article, the authors note that they observe that perovskite is a weak n-type semi conductor, in contrast to the results from other groups. They believe this is an indication that perovskite materials may be tune-able by changing the processing parameters, which could potentially make this material very useful for solar technology.
